A few days ago, netizens on Twitter decided to launch a bid for a third installment to Kill Bill, the beloved franchise. The story? They’d like it to revolve around the adult daughter of Vernita Green whom Uma Thurman’s character kills.
Now, Kill Bill star Vivica A Fox has revealed in an interview with NME that she would like Zendaya to play the character of her daughter in a potential Kill Bill: Vol 3.
“So I went, Zendaya! How hot would that be? And that would probably green light this project,” she said.
On being asked why she chose Zendaya, she elaborated: “Because her and Uma [Thurman] are both very tall and it would just be kick-butt, and I love her. Hopefully, now we can put that out, like ‘Tarantino cast Zendaya!’ And spark his interest to put it on the fast track. Wouldn’t it be amazing?’”
In fact, the great filmmaker himself, Quentin Tarantino has previously hinted that a third installment of the franchise would possibly feature Green’s daughter avenging her mother against Thurman’s character, The Bride.
In the 2003 film, after brutally killing Green, The Bride tells the young daughter: “It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that I’m sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it coming. When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I’ll be waiting.”
