The Marvel Vs DC debate might always rage on. While it used to be a battle limited to just comic book readers, today, the heated debate has moved beyond that. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and DC Extended Universe (DCEU) have sucked millions of people into its cinematic charm, full of superheroes and supervillains.

The last five years have been historic for both universes. Marvel released films like Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Black Panther, all breaking some sort of record at the box office. The DCEU enjoyed some good years too, with releases like Shazam! and Wonder Woman reenergizing the fanbase. But DCEU has definitely had more problems than MCU when it comes to reviews. DC films like Justice League, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad disappointed both critics, and fans. Unfortunately, the newly-released Wonder Woman 1984 is also part of the list. After scoring some not-so-great reviews and critic scores, it forces us to ask the question, is Marvel really better than DC?
