Kabir Khan and Boman Irani recently got together to have a fun Instagram Live chat. While the two discussed dozens of topics, the highlight was when they recited a few stories and recalled memories from their days shooting for their upcoming film, 83.
83’s story revolves around how the Indian cricket team won the 1983 Cricket World Cup by defeating West Insides in the finals. During the Live session, Khan revealed that West Indies captain Clive Lloyd was also present at the film’s sets in London when they were filming the pivotal scene of Team India lifting the cup. Khan also revealed that Lloyd’s son also plays a cricketer in the film. He shared that when he asked Lloyd to come a bit closer to witness the scene better, the cricketer hilariously replied, “You want me to see that cup going away for the second time and that too from near?”
