Christain recently returned to the sets of the fourth franchise film and was spotted in an unrecognisable avatar. From what it looks like, Bale is covered in either white paint or prosthetics in the blurry leaked photos. The actor is also seen donning a black cloak which has a unique look to itself. It appears that the makers are not relying on CGI as many leaked photos show how they are keeping it real and not going overboard with the technology.

While the film wrapped in June, reports suggest that earlier this week multiple crew members were listed on the film’s IMDb page for additional photography so these leaked pictures of Christian Bale’s look are probably for reshoots. In June, Chris Hemsworth and Taika Waititi announced the wrap with a social media post. Hemsworth had shared a photo of himself with the director and wrote, “That’s a wrap on Thor Love and Thunder, it’s also national don’t flex day so I thought this super relaxed photo was appropriate. The film is gonna be batshit crazy off the wall funny and might also pull a heart string or two. Lots of love, lots of thunder! Thank you to all the cast and crew who made this another incredible Marvel journey. Buckle in, get ready and see ya in cinemas!!”

Thor: Love And Thunder was originally scheduled to start shooting in August in Australia, but the production got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The makers had to push the release date of the superhero flick from November 2021 to February 2022. The film also stars Matt Damon in a key role.
