Thor actor Chris Hemsworth turned a year older on August 11. On this occasion, we revisit one of his first trips to India.
Chris Hemsworth is no stranger to India as he traveled here to shoot his blockbuster action film Extraction and made significant headlines upon arriving. The actor who turns 38 today also named his daughter India. Although, many people don’t know that Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky visited India in 2016 and had a ball.
In one of the pics, he shared on Instagram of his 2016 trip he was posing with a cow and was seen attempting to kiss it. “Give us a kiss gorgeous,” he captioned the Instagram picture.
In yet another picture that was shared by his wife Elsa, the actor was seen holding her on a bike. She shared the picture on her Instagram account with the caption, “Relax love, this won’t hurt a bit!”
The pair also went to the Himalayas, where they connected with the locals. “My local Himalayan guide directing me to the top, 3700m above sea level!!” The actor captioned the picture as he was captured, posing with a dog. He also shared a picture with a few children and wrote, “We were lucky enough to spend a few days with a group of Tibetan nomads in the Himalayas, one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I tried to swap sunglasses with this little legend but he was having no part of it.”
This year, unfortunately, the actor is not able to celebrate his birthday as Byron Bay was plunged into a snap lockdown two days ago.
But the actor’s older brother found this as an opportunity to troll him, as he posted a birthday tribute on Instagram. Sharing a picture of himself alongside the pair’s other sibling, Liam, 31, Luke quipped: ‘Happy birthday brother @chrishemsworth! ‘Love you mate will remember this trip the Kimberly region for ever. So many memories together.’
Fans in the comments section were quick to respond at the funny dig, sharing an abundance of crying with laughter emojis over the banter between the pair.
The actor has been busy with the upcoming Marvel film Thor: Love and Thunder, which will see him reunite with director Taika Waititi, after the well-received Thor: Ragnarok.
