It’s official: Chris Evans is ‘The Sexiest Men Alive In 2022’ as per PEOPLE Magazine’s illustrious annual list.

The honor comes as no surprise as the Captain America star is suave, a prolific actor, and of course, a great looker. However, while it’s assumed that a lot goes behind looking the way he does, turns out, Evans refuses to do anything extraordinary and likes to keep it fuss-free.

As far as his daily skincare goes, Evans vouches for a few trusty, over-the-counter products. When Instyle recently quizzed the star about the grooming products he can’t live without, Evans remarked that he likes to keep things “simple, classic, and clean”. “I just like things to be easy in my everyday life. I don’t even like shaving,” he revealed to the outlet.  

His bath shelf reportedly comprises a Dove soap bar (2 bars cost $4), a Braun Series 3 shaver ($80), Cetaphil moisturizing lotion ($10), Old Spice classic deodorant ($3), Chapstick classic original ($1) and Tancho High-Grade tique stick ($13). So in total, Evans spends only $111 on his skincare and grooming routine!

On being hailed the ‘Sexist Man Alive In 2022’; Evans, 41, revealed he’s still adjusting to the new title. “My mom will be so happy. She’s proud of everything I do but this is something she can really brag about,” he further added.   

Evans also opened up about trying to manage a healthy work-life balance in his 40s. “When it comes to seeking out the people I play, it’s more of an issue of where the movie shoots. I’m too old to be living out of a suitcase for six months and I’ve settled into a nicer phase where I’m just happy being at home.”

Chris Evans, who plays Captain America in the Avengers franchise, has had a great year on the work front. He starred in Pixar’s Lightyear, and Netflix’s Gray Man this year and was praised for his performance in both films. That aside, he also filmed three new movies, including 2023’s Ghosted for AppleTV+.
