We all were completely emotionally unprepared for what happened in Avengers: Infinity War, and as Marvel fans, we’re all waiting with bated breaths for Avengers: Endgame to release and to hopefully see Thanos get beaten to a pulp. But it looks like Thanos won’t be the only one we bid goodbye. 

In his recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Captain America himself, Chris Evans, revealed that he choked up as many as three times while watching Avengers: Endgame. This obviously isn’t great news, but it gets worse because this was Evans’ reaction after only watching the first hour of the film.

While talking about the movie, he said he couldn’t reveal much about it, but has watched the first hour of it.

“I wish I could. Uh, it’s — I mean — it’s a good one. It’s a real good one. I saw, like, the first hour of it.”

He then added, 

“Man. This one’s really good. I choked up like three times.”

Avengers: Endgame is set to release on April 26, and make sure you get a box of tissues because you’re going to need it.
