Dhanush is on a shooting spree. Not too long ago, the audience saw him in The Gray Man. The South star then appeared on the big screen in Thiruchitrambalam, winning everyone’s hearts with his spectacular performance. Moving past these successful releases, the actor has now unveiled the first look of one of his upcoming films. Taking it to social media, the star posted a still from his upcoming film Captain Miller. 

Dhanush is seen in a rather new avatar in the new snap. Looking back at the camera placed behind him, the actor flaunts a rugged beard and long hair and completes the look with a pair of snazzy shades. The actor captioned the picture on Instagram saying, “Captain Miller.”

A look this good was obviously going to catch everyone’s attention, and fans flocked to Twitter to appreciate the actor’s unsual yet drool-worthy avatar. Fans also celebrated the fact that Dhanush’s Insta post crossed 400K Likes in an hour, making it the second fastest for any Kollywood Actor.

Captain Miller marks the first collaboration between director Arun Matheswaran and Dhanush. Talking about the film, Matheswaran told OTTplay, “We will be re-creating the 1930s, and this is also the largest budgeted film for me. I like the name Captain Miller after Tom Hanks’s character name from Saving Private Ryan.”

Captain Miller’s production will start on October 7. Priyanka Arul Mohan is rumored to be the female protagonist of the film. Sundeep Kishan, who was last seen in the Telugu film Gully Rowdy, has also recently been roped in for Dhanush’s forthcoming release. Captain Miller will be released concurrently in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
