India is currently fighting its toughest battle. Every day, the situations in our country are going from bad to worse. This has become global news and Hollywood celebrities have come forward to support India in these dire situations. Shawn Mendes, Elle Degeneres, Kunal Nayya,r amongst other stars have urged fans to help India fight the battle with this deadly virus. Joining the bandwagon now is Camila Cabello.

The singer has made an appeal to her fans and social media followers to donate fund for helping India fight the virus. She took to Instagram to share a post and said, “India is facing a devastating second wave of COVID infections and needs resources and support to help save lives. If you can, please help @jayshetty and @radhidevlukia raise $1M for @give_india and their generous sponsor @indiaspora will match it! Every dollar will be doubled so we can try our best to make a difference.”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas had also started a fundraiser to help support India. Sharing a video of the grim situations in India recently, she urged more and more people to donate to the cause. The actress captioned it as, “The battle to stop the ravaging effects of Covid-19 in India still continues unabated. Your contributions to @give_india will make a huge, tangible difference! Your contributions will save lives ???????? #TogetherForIndia @give_india Click the link in bio to donate.”

 

The duo has managed to raise nearly ₹4.9crore for Covid-19 relief in India through the fundraiser they set up with GiveIndia. She had earlier shared that all the donations ‘will go directly to healthcare physical infrastructure (including Covid care centres, isolation centres, and oxygen generation plants), medical equipment, and vaccine support and mobilisation’. She added that she and Nick have already donated to the cause and ‘will continue to’ help India in these difficult times.
