Back in 2018, BTS’ RM had released a mixtape which was titled, Moon. One of the songs in the album was titled Moonchild, and considering that Dosanjh is a huge fan, we think he has taken inspiration from RM’s song for the name of his album.

“It’s a New Era… It’s a MOON CHILD ERA. BRAND NEW ALBUM,” BTS fan Diljit Dosanjh captioned a post he shared on Instagram. Soon after this, Dosanjh teased his fans with a few behind-the-scenes pictures from the music video. While no one is sure if RM’s song was actually his inspiration to name his album, Moonchild, but BTS Army is elated regardless.

According to several media reports, Diljit Dosanjh and Yami Gautam were supposedly coming together for a comedy film that was to be directed by Aziz Mirza’s son, Haroon. The film was one of late filmmaker Neeraj Vora’s last scripts and was supposed to be a ‘sensible comedy’. The rumours had surfaced in 2019 but no updates about the film have been made ever since.

“Yes, Diljit and Yami have given their nod to the film. It’s a fresh pairing and we are excited because both are competent actors with impeccable comic timing. It is a sensible comedy and revolves around a couple. We also need another actress who has a crucial role to play in the narrative. The casting should be locked soon,” producer Ramesh Taurani had told Mumbai Mirror back in 2019.
