Britney Spears Releases Audio On Conservatorship
Britney Spears’ Audio Clip On Conservatorship Is Not For The Faint-Hearted

Spears has reportedly signed a $15 million book deal with a publishing house to open up about her battle against conservatorship

2022 seems quite like Britney’s year.

Barely a few days since the release of her single, Hold Me Closer--after a hiatus of 6 years– Britney Spears has now opened up about her conservatorship.

While the arrangement(helmed by her father Jamie Spears) ended nine months ago, Britney continued to maintain a stoic silence about the entire episode in her life. But not anymore, as the pop singer had a 22-minutes-long audio message posted to YouTube on Sunday that gave listeners an in-depth insight into the conservatorship from her side. From being forced to give blood and have people watch her change naked to having her phone tapped so that she’d not feel safe enough to ask for help, Spears dropped heartwrenching bombshells in the audio clip.

Here’s what she released:

According to the reports, Spears has also signed a $15 million book deal with a publishing house through which she will reveal everything that ensued as part of the conservatorship.

Meanwhile, fans and followers of the Toxic singer have been showering her with support and love on social media for speaking up.

Elton John recently hinted at how the ordeal almost broke her. “It’s hard when you’re young. Britney was broken. I was broken when I got sober. I was in a terrible place. I’ve been through that broken feeling and it’s horrible. And luckily enough, I’ve been sober for 32 years and it’s the happiest I’ve ever been. Now I’ve got the experience to be able to advise people and help them because I don’t want to see any artists in a dark place. A lot of artists, you’d think they’d have a lot of self-esteem but they don’t, and that’s why we go onstage and we get the applause, and then we come offstage and we’re back to square one.”
