Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Jason Alexander Gatecrashes Her Wedding

What’s a wedding without any drama, anyway?

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari recently tied the knot at a secret venue. While the details of the big day were kept discreet, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Jason Alexander somehow managed to get access to the wedding. Spears’ first husband even live-blogged the gate-crash on Instagram and was soon arrested by the police.

The video was shared by fans on Twitter as well. Alexander is seen approaching the security. He then tells them that Spears is his ‘first and only wife’ and that she invited him to the wedding. When not allowed inside, he tried to trespass the property.

A complaint was filed, soon after which the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office arrived and booked Alexander for trespassing, vandalism, and physical altercations with security. Interestingly, this is now the first warrant filed against him. Earlier, he had a felony warrant for larceny in another county. Britney Spears ex-husband is currently in police custody.

The singer’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, talked about the incident and expressed how is ‘absolutely livid’ at Alexander’s actions. Expressing that he needs to be locked up, Rosengart told TMZ, “I am personally working with the sheriff’s department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Spears and Alexander were childhood friends and got in Las Vegas in January 2004. Briefly after the wedding, 55 hours to be precises, the marriage was annulled. The singer had filed a petition to the court asserting that she ‘lacked understanding of her actions.’ Later in the same year, she tied the knot with Kevin Federline. The duo split in 2001 and share the custody of their children — Sean and Jayden.

Britney Spears met Sam Asghari on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. The fitness trainer has been by her side ever since, even during her conservatorship battle with her father. The duo got engaged in September last year, two months before she won the lawsuit and was free from the conservatorship. The lovebirds were also expecting a child together but suffered a miscarriage.
