Except for Kishore Kumar, not many singers in Bollywood have managed to make much of an impact with their acting. Adnan Sami is the latest entrant to this team with his film Afghan’s first look being out. Hopefully, he’ll do better than these names.
Himesh Reshammiya
He must have though that his bad acting would earn similar plaudits as his bad singing. Thankfully, that didn’t happen. Otherwise, we would have had an overload of his films. Just like we had an overload of his songs, when he was at the peak of his success.
Sonu Nigam
As a singer, Sonu Nigam has few faults. He has a silky voice which can hit high notes and low notes equally well. However, as an actor, he was horrendous to say the least.
Lucky Ali
He did well in Kaante, and wasn’t a bad actor like Sonu or Himesh. However, we’d like to remember him from his songs – like O Sanam and Jaane Kya Dhoondta Hai.
Abhijeet Sawant
Abhijeet Sawant looked like he’ll be a big star after winning the first Indian Idol. His single, Mohabbatein Lutaaunga topped all charts and he enjoyed a massive fan following. However, he didn’t get a lot of love from Bollywood, and his lowest point came when he starred in Lottery – a film that nobody even knows about.
