Fresh Pairings In Bollywood To Look Out For In 2019
Fresh Pairings In Bollywood To Look Out For In 2019

From Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt

2018 saw quite a few interesting pairings that graced the big screen and this year, it’s only going to get better. With the success of films like Stree, Andhadhun and Baadhai Ho, producers will hopefully back content-driven cinema and take us away from the tried-and-tested pairings of Bollywood.

Dulquer Salmaan and Sonam Kapoor

Anuja Chauhan’s The Zoya Factor was quite a hit when it released and we cannot wait for the film. While Kapoor plays the lucky charm, Zoya, we’re excited to see Salmaan play the handsome and intense Nikhil Khoda.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi

The Kedarnath actor and Rockstar‘s Mandy are all set to star in the Bollywood remake of the sob-fest The Fault In Our Stars. We already have our tissues ready.

Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey

It’s difficult to imagine anyone recreate the magical chemistry that Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra shared in Student Of The Year but here’s hoping that Shroff, Sutaria and Pandey bring us something interesting and new in SOTY 2.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt

The lovebirds will be seen in the first instalment of Ayan Mukerji’s superhero trilogy Brahmastra in 2019. Of course, we love seeing real-life couples on screen but we are equally excited to see what these powerhouse actors bring to the table.

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon

Bollywood’s current chocolate boy will star opposite Sanon in a film called Luka Chuppi. We don’t know how to feel about this pairing yet but here’s keeping our fingers crossed.
