Billie Eilish was headlining the news this whole week for her big win at the Grammys 2021. However, the 19-year-old singer had more surprises up her sleeve. The Bad Guy singer finally said goodbye to her iconic neon green-and-black hairstyle, and is now flaunting her new blonde look on social media. Eilish took to Instagram to share her new look, leaving her fans in shock.

The post that the singer shared on social media shows her looking away from the camera as she poses for the snap. She simply captioned the post as “pinch me”, and garnered more than 18 million likes on the picture. This is, however, not the first time Eilish has coloured her hair different. The singer has previously dyed her hair blue and grey among other colours. Her fans loved Eilish’s new look, and dropped lovely messages in the comment section and gave a thumbs up to her new look.

Earlier, fans had speculated that Eilish has been donning a wig during the Grammys, and has changed her look even before it made a debut on social media. In a now-deleted post, Billie’s hairstylist Lissa Renn, took to Instagram to talk about how she transformed the singer’s black hair with green roots to this platinum blonde look. She wrote, “The process is real when you’re doing it right. Six weeks to get all the black out of her ends without damaging it, along with her following my strict hair care regime. We actually loved all the stages of lifting colour but the end result is (fire emoji)“, which confirms that the singer indeed was wearing a wig at the Recording Academy awards.

Talking about Eilish’s iconic Grammy win, she bagged the Record of the Year award for her track, Everything I Wanted. The singer performed the same song on the stage of the award show as well. She created history for bagging the Best Song Written For Visual Media award for her James Bond theme song from the unreleased No Time to Die movie.
