T-Series is the biggest name in movies with a massive number of hits, and it’s latest Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a blockbuster. The Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu starrer film is nearing the Rs 100 crore mark, and is showing no signs of slowing down. High on this success, the company has shared some good news with fans. T-Series’ head honcho, Bhushan Kumar, has confirmed the third part of the franchise film as well as Kabir Singh 2 also in the pipeline. 

Kumar told Pinkvilla, “I think, our film Kabir Singh can definitely be spun into a franchise. It’s an iconic character and can be taken into a second part.” Producer Murad Khetani also agreed with Kumar and said that the character is quite popular for him to get another film. He went on to add that Aashiqui 3 would also be a great idea.

“We are definitely taking the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise forward. There is enough scope in the premise and we will announce more details at the right time,” the producers told the entertainment portal. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the second installment of the horror-comedy film has earned ₹84.78 crores at the box office so far. 

Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s original starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja in lead roles. Directed by Priyadarshan, the 2007 released film was a remake of the 1993 Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu.

As for the 2019 released Kabir Singh, the audience saw Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor romance each other in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy. Both the films were directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
