Invoking the camaraderie and bro-hood vibes from movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che had us looking for tissues at times. The almost romantic (of the platonic variety) comradeship among the trio even translated off the screen as Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkummar Rao and Amit Sadh gave us all the friendship goals in the world.

Cut to today – Sushant is on the cusp of superstar status while Rajkummar has carved a niche for himself in the industry with his nuanced performances and film choices. We often see these two chilling together and the latter even made a guest appearance in the former’s (terrible) Raabta recently.

But what’s up with Amit Sadh, who’ll be seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Raag Desh that releases this week? He doesn’t make public appearances with his Kai Po Che mates anymore, let alone sharing screen space with them again.

While himself and Rajkummar might still be acquaintances, a little birdie tells us that all’s not well between Amit and Sushant.

Is there a woman involved? Does it have to do something with Sushant sharing more than just films with Kriti Sanon? Well, who knows.

Or wait; is this animosity purely because Sushant went on to achieve much bigger things than Sadh, who is still struggling for an identity in the industry?

Sadh turned 34 last month and would have hoped for a slightly better career than being best known for side roles, especially now that his contemporaries are doing so much better than him.

His personal life has also not been at its healthiest ever since he broke up with former fiancé Neeru Bajwa in 2010.

Not that he has many projects in the pipeline, but we wish that he achieves his share of success in the times to come. If that’s what it will take to mend his relationship with Sushant; or not?
