There was a time when most Indians knew these ladies better than they knew themselves. It was a family affair, sitting around the television sets and getting invested in the lives of Tulsi, Parvati, Prerna and Kumkum. In fact, no matter how cool desi millennials may try to act right now, everybody still remembers the opening sequence to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on account of hearing/seeing it almost every day when our parents would wrest the remote from our hands and switch the channel to Star Plus.

But where are they now? Let’s take a look:

Smriti Irani

Everybody knows who she is and what she’s doing right now. The iconic Tulsi who was the ‘ideal’ woman is currently the Textiles Minister in the Government of India and was also the Minister of Information and Broadcasting and the Minister of Human Resource Development.

Sakshi Tanwar

Tanwar played the role of Parvati Agarwal in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and then portrayed Priya Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. The actress was also seen in Dangal and will next be seen in the latest season of Tyohaar Ki Thaali on Epic Channel.
