It almost took more than a decade for fans to witness the first glimpse of Avatar : The Way Of The Water. But it is safe to say that it was all worth it. The first footage was screened at the CinemaCon event in Las Vegas on April 27, and almost two weeks later, fans worldwide got to see it too.
The teaser invites you inside the world of the visually stunning landscapes of Pandora. You get to see many shots of the ocean, the blue water while taking a tour of the Earth-like habitable extrasolar moon of the gas giant Polyphemus from the Alpha Centauri system. Na’vi, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Zoe Saldana’s Neytiri can be seen in this quick teaser as well. The sequel seems to be more family-centric, as we hear Jake say, “Wherever we go, this family is our fortress,” in the teaser.
Well, we could expect no less from James Cameron after all. Twitter was abuzz with love for the teaser. People expressed how they are looking forward to watching the film which will be arriving on December 16.

With the new Avatar films, we’re pushing those limits even farther, with 3D, with high dynamic range, with high frame rate, higher resolution, and a much greater reality in our visual effects.”
The film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez and Sigourney Weaver in the lead roles. Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, David Thewlis and Vin Diesel and several other stars are joining the franchise’s cast with this film. The sequel is set to be released on December 16, 2022, in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
