Ashley Tisdale and her husband, Christopher French, welcomed their first child on March 25. Tisdale shared the news on social media, and revealed that the couple has been blessed with a baby girl. The actress took to Instagram to share the first picture of her little munchkin, and shared her name with her fans.
The High School Musical star shared a monochrome picture of her daughter’s tiny hands wrapped around her finger. Tisdale captioned the image as, “Jupiter Iris French arrived earth side 3.23.21.” Emma Roberts, Hilary Duff, and Lea Michele were amongst the first few stars to congratulate the actress on the arrival of her baby.

Tisdale’s husband also took to Instagram stories to thank everyone for their warm wishes. He wrote, “We are completely soaked in all the love and support that has come out with celebration and well-wishes for us and baby juju. Thank you all, we love you.” French also shared the same black and white picture of his baby daughter.
Tisdale had announced her pregnancy back in September 2020. Days before the arrival of her baby, the singer opened up about her struggle of accepting her changing body during pregnancy, on her site Frenshe. “Seeing my body look so different is still a little startling to me. It’s like I don’t fully recognise myself and almost like an out-of-body experience. Thoughts like, ‘Is that really me?’ come to mind. I think it comes down to body acceptance vs body love. I think that you can love your body, no matter what shape or form, but it’s the acceptance part that trips me up a little.”
“I popped pretty early in pregnancy, and I had people say ‘I think you’re farther along than you think’, ‘Are you having twins?’—all very invasive things,” she added. “However, I brushed those comments off as I do with any type of criticism. I think change can be hard, but I continue each day saying I love you to my body because it’s doing so much, and it’s creating is a beautiful miracle.” She concluded the piece by talking about how she plans to let her body recover postpartum.
