Back in October 2021, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was in the news for the wrong reasons. The star kid was arrested by the Mumbai police after a drug bust on a ship that was headed to Goa. Khan and two others were taken into custody after which a month of investigation happened. Now, Aryan Khan has finally been cleared of all the accusations.
NCB has filed a 6,000-page chargesheet against 14 people. Khan, who was one of 20 people arrested, was not named as an accused. “All the accused persons were found in possession of narcotics except Aryan and Mohak,” a statement by senior NCB officer Sanjay Kumar Singh revealed. The anti-drugs agency failed to find sufficient evidence against him and the five others, Kumar Singh added.
Fans were elated to know that Khan has been given a clear chit. Twitter was abuzz with messages rejoicing the fact that his name was cleared but some people owed it to privilege.

For the uninitiated, Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were detained by NCB. On October 4th the first hearing of the case took place where NCB asked for an extension of the star kid’s police custody until October 11. NCB had claimed Aryan was a frequent user and supplier of drugs.
The court only granted custody of the accused until October 7th. NCB again sought custody of Khan until October 11, which was rejected by the court. Aryan Khan was sent to 14-day judicial custody instead and then shifted to Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail on October 8th.
