Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd have, of late, been spotted dining together on several occasions, sparking rumours of the two being romantically involved.

As per Fox News, the actress and the singer were snapped leaving Giorgio Baldi restaurant in all-black outfits and masks.

They were also spotted at that very Italian eatery in late June. A news outlet reported that Jolie and The Weeknd dined for over two hours and then got into the same SVU together.

A source close to The Weeknd previously told Page Six that their relationship might be business-focused. “They’re clearly not trying to hide the dinner date,” the source said, adding, “He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in.”

However, a source alleging being close to the actress has told US Weekly that, “Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on,” the insider adds, noting that the “Blinding Lights” singer “is in awe of” the Eternals actress.

“Friends believe things could turn romantic,” adds the source between The Weeknd and the Oscar winner, who “is playing down talk of anything serious” at the moment.

They have been appearing together in public much more often. Back in July, an eyewitness spotted the two at an “intimate” Mustafa the Poet concert, but they didn’t appear to attend with one another.

There is no public confirmation of anything romantic between the two from either party.

Jolie finalized her divorce from Brad Pitt in April 2019, three years after the duo called it quits. They tied the knot in 2014 and are still in a legal battle over custody of their kids Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 13. Their eldest son, Maddox, is now 20 and is exempted from this battle for custody. Jolie had expressed a fear for the safety of the entire family as the reason for the split.

The Weeknd, on the other hand, has an on-again-off-again past with model Bella Hadid in the middle of which he also famously dated singer Selena Gomez.
