“I did slow down because of various reasons,” AR Rahman had told us in an interview earlier. “Even the industry changed. There were publishing issues and music companies took control and said ‘oh, I have seven composers and I’ll give you three of this and three of that’. It is easy for people, this good short cut for commercial movies. And that is not bad, even Hollywood does stuff like that, but then, I was like, why are you doing this? You have the power, people love you — some people love you at least — what stops you from taking leadership and creating a base instead of waiting and asking other people to give you a chance?”

 

This is clearly the era of remixes and now, we have the whole country jumping onto the rap bandwagon. Now, T-Series and Tanishk Bagchi have decided to remix the iconic Delhi-6 number, Masakali. The video of the remix features Tara Sutaria and Sidharth Malhotra.

The Academy Award winning composer also took to Instagram and shared a picture of a burning man with the caption reading, “The strongest man is he who is able to control his anger.”
