It appears that old friends and Bollywood’s star directors, Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Bahl have patched up their differences. For those who aren’t in the know, the two of them had fallen out with each other after Bahl’s name cropped up in the #MeToo movement. During that time, Kashyap had called him out and chosen not to support him.
This had also led to the dissolving of Phantom Films which is known for films like Queen, Gangs of Wasseypur, Udta Punjab, Udaan and Masaan.
However, a source close to the filmmakers has informed Filmfare that the duo appears to have buried their differences and that Kashyap had even supervised the edit of Super 30 which is Bahl’s film.
Last year, soon after the director’s name cropped up in the #MeToo allegations, actor Hrithik Roshan had distanced himself from the filmmaker and Bahl had even filed a ₹10-crore defamation suit against his former partners in the now-defunct Phantom Films.
