Considering that we are approaching the festival of Ganpati soon, the makers of the action entertainer have decided to release the special Ganpati song featuring Sharma and Varun Dhawan this week. A source close to the development told Pinkvilla that the song will be launched around September 10.
“Since the premise of Antim unfolds in Maharashtra, the makers have gone all authentic with the setup and incorporated a special Ganpati number in the narrative composed by Sajid – Wajid. While Varun Dhawan will be seen grooving to the beats celebrating the arrival of Lord Ganesha, Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma too will be a part of the song,” revealed the source.
The source went on to add, “The nation will be welcoming the arrival of Lord Ganesha, and it’s a small ode from the team of Antim to the celebrations. Salman and his entire team feel that the song encapsulates the vibe of the festive season very well and the song will slowly find a place in all the Ganpati mandals.”
While the release date of the film is still kept under wraps, rumours suggest that the team is contemplating the idea of bringing the Khan and Sharma starrer by mid-October, around Dussehra. “Various release strategies are being explored by the team of SKF with Zee Studios,” revealed the source.
Antim: The Final Truth, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, is Salman’s first collaboration with his brother-in-law. Talking about the film, a source had told Mumbai Mirror, “Salman plays a no-nonsense Sikh cop who is on a mission to end gang-wars and land mafia in his area of jurisdiction. After wrapping up his action-thriller Radhe in October, in which he sports a clean-shaven look, he took time off to grow a beard.”
