Anna Faris confirmed that she and her fiance, Michael Barrett, are now an officially married couple. The actress spilled the beans on her secret wedding and her marriage to Barrett during one of the episodes of the Anna Faris is Unqualified podcast. She spoke about her fiance and revealed how they eloped in Washington State.

Faris charmingly referred to Barrett as her “husband” during the podcast. Confirming her marriage, the actress said, “I’m looking around.. my fiancé’s right — he’s now my husband. Yes, we eloped.” She tagged her wedding as a secret wedding and shared details about it.

“It was awesome, yeah, it was great,” she said. She went on to talk about where in Washington did they tie the knot and revealed, “It was at a local courthouse up in Washington State, it was great.” Faris and Barrett began seeing each other in 2017. The two had met on sets of Overboard and instantly hit it off. Barret was working as the cinematographer on the show.

This is Faris’ third marriage. Her relationship with Barrett became the talk of the town a month after her split from husband Chris Pratt. Pratt and Faris were married fr 8 years and she also shares a son, Jack, with him. The actress was also previously married to Ben Indra. The duo was married from 2004 to 2008.

In an interview with People in May, Anna Faris had spoken about her relationship with Barrett. She said that one of the reasons that they clicked was the fact that they are both “introverts.” She also went on to add, “And he has two children and that has been awesome. I’ve really learned a lot about myself through his kids. It’s been really rewarding.”

Faris and Barrett had been engaged to each other since 2019. Their engagement was confirmed by the actress’ Mom co-star Allison Janney. She had told US magazine that Faris had “been engaged for a long time.”
