Sania Mirza Shoaib Malik Annouce New Show Named 'Mirza Malik Show'
Amid Divorce Rumours, Sania Mirza-Shoaib Malik To Host A Reality Show Together

Fans are furious that the divorce rumours just seem like a publicity stunt now

While the buzz around Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Mirza and Indian badminton player Sania Mirza parting ways is still on, the situation has taken a turn where the couple has announced their plans to host a new reality show together.

Recent reports suggested that the couple had parted ways and their divorce was stuck in legal formalities. But now everyone is confused and many are stating it was a mere publicity stunt. An OTT platform named Urduflix shared a poster on their Instagram handle that stated that the Mirza Malik Show will soon be on the platform. Since the two are based out of Dubai, the poster also has an image of the Burj Khalifa.

For the uninitiated, Malik, in March, had announced that something like this was in the works. It will stream on the first Urdu OTT platform in Pakistan. Another publication reported that it would be a chat show hosted by them where funny content will be the focus. Understanding the delicate relations between India and Pakistan, they have kept a lot of things in mind. The guests too have been chosen in a way that will not hurt anyone’s sentiments. It can be compared to The Kapil Sharma Show of India.

This has left fans divided because many are agitated with the fact that they did something like this for publicity and many are saying that it is good that they will be together. It was also reported that Mirza was living with Malik in Dubai’s Palm Jumeriah but recently moved into a new house.

People speculated that the tension between the couple happened because of Malik’s closeness with Pakistani model and actress Ayesha Omar. Right from him cheating on her to wanting to move on in life, the internet has been flooded with theories. Later, Omar took to Instagram and cleared her name from all this. She stated that she has no connections with him in any romantic way and he is her friend.

It was in 2010 when, amid so many controversies, the two had tied the knot Then in 2018, they became parents to a boy named Izhaan Mirza-Malik. Mirza was 23 and Malik was 28 when they met for the first time in Australia in 2010. After a brief courtship period of five months, they decided to seal the deal with a Qubool Hai.
