While it became pretty obvious for Johnny Depp fans to troll Amber Heard after all those secrets came out in the court, the actress is not happy with how her image is being portrayed in the press. Angered by all the bad publicity, Heard has reportedly fired her entire PR team and has replaced them with a new one as well.
Reports in New York Post state that sources have verified the news. They revealed that the actress has switched to a new PR firm in the middle of the trial. She took the step, after being seemingly frustrated with the negative coverage about her in the news during the trial. “She doesn’t like bad headlines. She is frustrated with her story not being told effectively,” revealed the sources.
Heard now reportedly has consulting firm, Shane Communications, working with her to assist her and put forth her side of the story better in the court of public opinion. The firm has worked for a case against Depp before when Johnny Depp’s former business managers, The Management Group, claimed that he needed to hire a shrink for his “compulsive spending” habit of $2 million per month.
Apart from this, a petition to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 has gained momentum once again. The petition reads, “Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment should and must remove Heard from their Aquaman 2 film project. They must not ignore the suffering of Heard’s victims, and must not glamorize a domestic abuser.” The petition has gained more than 2 million signatures.
Buzz is that Heard’s role in Aquaman has been reduced to a 10-minute appearance. A source revealed, “I hear Amber Heard has less than 10 min of screentime in Aquaman 2.” An official statement regarding the same is yet to be issued. The film is slated for release on March 17, 2023.
