As the novel coronavirus led to global lockdowns and ravaged lives across the world, OTT platforms like Netflix have come through and saved us from months of boredom.
While Amazon Prime Video gifted us with Paatal Lok recently, we now hear that Netflix is set to stream all three seasons of the Bryan Fuller-created Hannibal. The show was discontinued after three seasons in 2015 and deals with the life of Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Will Graham (Hugh Dancy).
According to media reports, for the past five years, Fuller has been keeping the dream alive that someone will pick up Hannibal for more seasons and while there is no intimation of the same, one can hope. The show dealt with the life and times of Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham, a detective who forms a close and unique bond with him. Unbeknownst to Graham, Lecter is a cannibal.
Hannibal will be available on Netflix from June 5 onwards.
