Everything We Know About Deadpool 3: Cast, Release Date, R-Rated Content
‘Deadpool 3’: Everything You Need To Know

Deadpool 3 entails R-rated violence and explicit language, and the makers have no qualms about keeping things just the way it is

The makers of the Deadpool 3 appear to be as pumped about the whole thing as fans are. The 37th movie in the Marvel universe will be a sequel to 2016 and 2018’s Deadpool and Deadpool 2. Here’s all the info we’ve gathered about the movie so far:

Cast

Ryan Reynolds will be returning as Wade Wilson for Deadpool 3, which also sees Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine. As per reliable reports, it will be the MCU debut of this character. It was previously assumed that Logan was the last project in which Wolverine appeared, but things are poised to change real soon.

“I’ll probably have more fun in this movie than any other I’ve ever done. I think being on set with [Ryan] every day and those two on film in every city together every day… I think it’s fair to say they’ll be punching the s— out of each other the whole time,” said Jackman in a recent interview.

The cast also retains names like Leslie Uggam, who played Deadpool’s roommate in the earlier installment.

Release Date

The movie is slated for a release on November 8, 2024, as opposed to earlier speculations that hinted at a release on September 6, 2024. This film will be a part of Phase 5 of the MCU universe, which also marks the start of phase 6. The crew is likely to commence shooting in 2023.

Plot Details

Reynolds recently teased that the film will explore an entirely new direction. “Often, they reboot or change a character maybe like four movies too late,” said the actor. In another interview writer, Rhett Reese averred, “They are gonna let Deadpool be Deadpool, you know? It’s not like any particular joke may be the one that they say: ‘You know, that’s too far’. That could happen, but to this point, it’s been nothing but support.”

He further added, “It’s a wonderful opportunity for fish-out-of-water. Deadpool is a lunatic at the center of a movie. To drop a lunatic into a very sane world, it’s straight butter. It’s going to be really fun.”

Will The Action Tone Down In This One?

Deadpool 3 entails R-rated violence and explicit language, and the makers have no qualms about keeping things just the way it is. What’s more, Director Shawn Levy even reiterated that “nothing would be toned down in this threequel”.“We are writing, rewriting, developing, and prepping Deadpool every day. It is such a blast to laugh every day. It is so delicious to hear and write and come up with these scenes where people are just talking foul. And the violence is in your face and hardcore, and it’s very much a Deadpool movie. And it has Logan in it. And it has Wolverine in it. It’s too fun. I’m having so much fun, and I haven’t even hit the shooting floor yet,” he enthused, at a media meet.
