Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey is one of the most anticipated films currently. After giving quite a few patriotic films, Kumar will finally be seen in a different role in the film. While the announcement of the film was long made, fans were eager to know when the film was releasing.

You can finally mark your calendars as the film is all set to release in theatres on March 18. Taking to Instagram, Khan shared the new posters of the film. Along with it, he wrote, “Action, comedy, romance, drama loading this Holi.”

By far not many details have been out about the film. From what we know, the film is being helmed by Farhad Samji. Bachchan Pandey also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi and Arshad Warsi in pivotal roles. Kumar will be seen undertaking the role of a gangster who aspires to be an actor. Sanon will essay the role of a journalist, who holds the dream of becoming a director. Warsi will be seen as Bachchan Pandey’s friend.

The lead star sports two distinct looks in the films. In one poster, which was released earlier, he is seen donning a moustache and a lungi. The other poster features him in a bearded look with one blue eye. It is being said that the moustache sequences are reportedly set in flashbacks. These throwbacks will feature Fernandez opposite the actor. The action-comedy film is set in Rajasthan. The film will also Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, Snehal Dabbi and Saharsh Kumar Shukla playing pivotal roles.

Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Pvt Ltd. Bachchan Pandey will mark Fernandez and Nadiadwala’s 8th film together after Judwaa and Housefull series. The film also marks Nadiadwala’s 10th collaboration with Akshay Kumar.
