The actor will be joining Bear Grylls for an adventure soon as he is going to feature on an episode of Discovery’s adventure show Into The Wild With Bear Grylls. The makers announced the same on Sunday (September 12).
The actor will soon be filming the episode in Maldives with the host and ace adventurer. Grylls flew from London to join Devgn in Maldives. The two will explore the wildest locations and test their survival skills in the Discovery show. Devgn’s wife Kajol and kids, Nysa and Yug, along with some family members, have also joined the actor to his trip to the island. The family celebrated Yug’s birthday today, and the actor will now soon join Grylls for the shoot.
Previously, PM Narendra Modi, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar have shot for the show with Bear Grylls. Kumar shot for the show in Bandipur National Park, while Thalaiva shot for his part in Tiger Reserve in Karnataka. The PM shot for it at the Jim Corbett National Park.
Apart from his debut on Bear Grylls’ show, the actor is also putting on the director’s hat for his upcoming film Mayday. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan in a key role. Talking about directing Big B, Devgn called it a delightful experience.
“He is a delight to work with. I’ve never seen a more dedicated actor. We are nothing in front of him. Once he is on set, he will keep rehearsing, keep thinking about the scene. It’s phenomenal,” Devgn revealed during an interview.
Ajay Devgn Films, is bankrolling the new project which also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Angira Dhar in key roles. The film went on floors last December and is nearly complete with only five days of shoot remaining.
