Shaira shared a video along with a picture of herself sitting in the car. She captioned the image as, “Thanku love @khan_ahmedasas for this dream come true … #Ourdreamcar #keatonmobile1989 #batmobile @____azaan____ @_subhaankhan_ #keepingupwiththekhans.” The car is designed keeping in mind the Batmobile used in the 1989 Batman film starring Michael Keaton.

The pictures of the rare Batmobile caught everyone’s attention. Disha Patani was one of the first celebs to comment on the post. She wrote, “Insanee.” Genelia Deshmukh took to the comments section, saying, “Amazeeeeeee Shy.” Raveena Tandon, Remo D’Souza, Elli Evram, Sanjana Sanghi also dropped comments on Shaira’s post.

It is said that the car took eight months to arrive from the US. It was then assembled in Mumbai and gifted to Shaira. Interesting this is not the first Batmobile to have arrived in India. Pune Mirror reports that Adar Poonawalla also refurnished his Mercedes S350 into a Batmobile. He hired the same Mumbai-based company as the Baaghi 3 director, Executive ModCar Trendz (EMT), and paid them Rs 40 lakh to add the wings and extended boot. Poonawalla reportedly presented the car to his son Cyrus Jr.

On the work front, Ahmed Khan is currently busy with his upcoming film, Heropanti 2. The film is the second part of the franchise. Starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria in the lead, the film is currently in its pre-production stage. The first film marked Shroff’s Bollywood debut. Before this, the director released Baaghi 3 during the pandemic. While the film won the audience’s hearts, it did not do well at the box office. The film was only running in theatres for two weeks after which the lockdown restrictions in the country were imposed.
