Not only did Shershaah tell a compelling story, but credit where it’s due, the soundtracks of the film were also quite a hit. Raataan Lambiyaan from the Sidharth Malhotra starrer hit the right chords with the audience and became one of the most listened-to songs of the year. But the magic has not been restrained to only our country. The song has travelled globally with a video of African siblings crooning the song like a boss now going viral.

A video of two African siblings dancing and singing along to Raataan Lambiyan has been winning the internet for all the best reasons. Uploaded by an Instagrammer named Kili paul from Tanzania, Africa, the clip shows him and his sister perfectly lip-syncing the track while busting some moves. Despite it being a Hindi song, the two ace the singing and look like people who definitely know the lyrics properly.
Paul who boasts of 81k followers on Instagram shared the video with a caption that read, “He has the best songs so we enjoy @jubin_nautiyal #eastafrica #maasai #kilipaul #tanzania #kenya #india #bollywood #music.” The two have uploaded other such videos on their profile as well.
The video went viral to an extent where Shershaah stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani also took to their Instagram stories to react to it. Malhotra reposted the story with the hashtag #ShershaahLove, while Advani added a heart and a raised hands emoji when sharing the video. Paul reposted these stories on his Instagram stories and expressed his delight over the actors noticing him.
The film, which released on August 12, has become Amazon Prime Video’s most-watched film. Opening up about the film’s success earlier, producer Karan Johar said in a statement, “Shershaah has always been a film close to our hearts, and seeing the love and appreciation the film has received makes me feel incredibly proud about the movie and each and everyone associated with it.”
