Abhishek Bachchan often becomes a target of trolls and online bullies, but he never loses his calm and makes sure that he gives it back to these trolls with subtle and witty replies. Recently, a Twitter user trolled the actor and called him a “good for nothing” actor with a “beautiful wife he doesn’t deserve,” and Bachchan decided to shut the troll with a savage response.

The user, in his now-deleted tweet, had said, “You are good for nothing buddy…the only thing which I am jealous of you is that you’ve got a very beautiful wife….and from that too that you don’t even deserve her.” Bachchan wrote, “Ok. Thank you for your opinion.”

He went on to write, “Just curious… who are you referring to because you’ve tagged a whole load of people? I know Ileana (Ileana D’Cruz) and Niki (Nikita Dutta) aren’t married, that leaves the rest of us (Ajay Devgn, Kookie Gulati, Sohum Shah) so…PS – will get back to you about Disney+Hotstar’s marital status.”

Bachchan’s reply sure was very hilarious, but this is not the first time that he has given it back to trolls and online bullies. Last year, when the actor had taken it to Twitter to express his delight over the reopening of cinema halls, a bully had commented “But aren’t you still gonna be jobless?”

Bachchan had a witty reply for him as he responded in a dignified manner and said, “That, alas, is in your (the audiences) hand. If you don’t like our work, we won’t get our next job. So we work to the best of our abilities and hope and pray for the best.”

On the work front, the actor is awaiting the release of his next film titled The Big Bull. The film will see him essay the role of a stockbroker, a character that is loosely based on Harshad Mehta. The film will revolve around Indian’s biggest stock market scam that took place in 1992.
