Abhishek Bachchan was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital due to an injury. As per reports, the actor suffered an injury on the set of his upcoming project. The word is, he was on the sets of the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Othatha Seruppu Size 7 when the incident occurred.

The CEO of Lilavati speaking to Indian Express confirmed the development. However, it was referred to as a ‘minor injury’, he shared, “Abhishek Bachchan came for a few hours yesterday with a minor hand issue. He was discharged and has already gone home.”

The actor is currently receiving treatment for the fracture.

Abhishek was seen with a sling tied around his right hand and had several bandages over his fingers. There has been no official information or update on his well-being so far.

Father Amitabh Bachchan and sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda were also photographed in the car as they were visiting him at the hospital on Sunday.

Abhishek is reportedly admitted due to an injury he faced some time back.

Last week, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan were spotted at the Kalina airport, Mumbai. Abhishek Bachchan had come to see off his wife and daughter, who were on their way to Madhya Pradesh for Aishwarya’s Ponniyin Selvan shoot commitment. Abhishek was spotted with a sling tied around his hand and bandages.

Ponniyin Selvan is being directed by Mani Ratnam and will have Aishwarya in a double role.

Abhishek Bachchan can be expected in Bob Biswas a spin-off of the character from Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani featuring Vidya Balan next. He will also be in Dasvi playing an uneducated politician with Yami Gautam on the cast with him.

Amitabh Bachchan also keeps busy, with Brahmastra, Jhund, Goodbye, Mayday, Nag Ashwin’s next and other projects in the pipeline.
