After the super entertaining first episode which featured the bubbly Alia Bhatt and the uber cool Deepika Padukone, the sixth season of Koffee With Karan gave us the madcap duo of Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar. For the third episode, we had brilliant actor and renowned perfectionist Aamir Khan gracing KJo’s couch.

While the first two episodes touched on everything from DeepVeer’s wedding to Alia and Ranbir’s relationship, it completely ignored the #MeTooIndia movement that has swept the country in general and the entertainment industry in particular. The third episode finally touched on the topic with Khan saying: “I’m glad that there is a clean-up that is happening. I am glad that women are having the strength to come out and speak up about it. And it is sad that women have had to come out and speak about it for it to have created this environment.”

Then, we were pleasantly surprised to have the glamorous and stunning Malaika Arora grace us with her presence. Arora took KJo’s seat as he joined Khan on the couch for the infamous rapid-fire round.

After Kirron Kher’s burn on Johar’s sartorial sense, Khan too delivered a scathing review of the director’s choice of clothing. Arora asked KJo if he’d rather give up shopping or gossip to which KJo replied: “No, I can’t give up shopping. I’ll give up gossip.”

Khan burst out laughing at that and said: “Anyway you don’t have shopping sense.”

However, our favourite part of the episode was when Khan had to call up random people and ask them to watch his film Thugs of Hindostan. You’ve got to watch the episode for the hilarious responses!
