Priyanka Chopra is now an internationally talked about figure. Be it her looks, acting skills, fashion sense or the recent controversies- she is literally everywhere! But we can’t help pointing out that of late, there’s someone who seems to be sharing the limelight with her. And that happens to be none other than her super-cool mom, Madhu Chopra. So we finally have the answer- THIS is where it all comes from!
Here’s a list of things she has said that just won’t let us stop loving her:
At a media interaction on Tuesday Madhu Chopra was asked if she thinks a film should be made on Priyanka’s inspirational journey. Her reply to this was, “I can’t comment about the film but a book must be written on her life because her journey and thoughts are very inspirational.”
Why can’t our mothers say such things?
“I feel if today’s generation can listen and understand her talks, they will be definitely benefited.”
Such confidence!
In context with the thorough condemnation of how Priyanka was not “decently” dressed and for sitting in a posture which was labelled “disrespectful” towards the Prime Minister, Madhu Chopra simply defended her daughter by implying that she wasn’t prepared for the occasion.
“All I taught her (Priyanka) is if you have done no wrong, you have nothing to fear. She was going for the Baywatch promotions, suddenly she bumped into Mr Modi, she cannot go for a dress change and come back to say hello? The meeting was not pre-planned, it was impromptu.”
Now that’s Super Mom to the rescue!
“These days, social media trolls are just seeking attention without focusing on content. Yes, they are getting two minutes of fame but there is no credibility,”
True that.
We did get a hint about the possibility of a really cool mom when we heard PC say earlier,
“Financial independence is paramount. My mom always says that when a woman is financially independent, she has the ability to live life on her own terms. I think that was the soundest advice that I ever got.”
We think so too!
Like Priyanka wasn’t good enough to shut people up, she also has the coolest support-system now.
