Anna Farris and Chris Pratt broke up recently and we had our hearts broken. We thought the couple would stand the test of time, but as Adele says in her soulful song Someone Like You, “Sometimes, it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead.”
In Bollywood, there have been several break-ups that we didn’t want to see happening, but we did. Let’s take a look.
Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor
For those of us who have seen Jab We Met, we know that the chemistry between Shahid and Kareena was crackling. Nobody thought that they will break-up, but they did, and thankfully both of them moved on from the spat without letting it affect their careers.
Deepika Padukone-Ranbir Kapoor
Khuda Jaane why this break-up happened, because Deepika had even tattooed RK’s name. But then the duo did bury their hatchet and starred in Tamasha together. And going by the look in their eyes in the Agar Tum Saath Ho song, they seemed to be still very much in love. Hope Ranveer’s not reading this.
Abhishek Bachchan-Rani Mukherjee
The Bunty Aur Babli co-stars were a thing once, but unfortunately their love could not find fruition. That said, both of them found great partners – AB Jr. married Aishwarya Rai, while Rani Mukherjee married one of the biggest names in the industry, Aditya Chopra.
Hrithik Roshan-Susanne Khan
Their love story was so heartwarming, that we could not believe our eyes when we saw the break-up take place. “I just looked at him. And he looked at me. And we were seeing each other in that rear-view mirror, but we pretended like we were not paying attention,” Susanne said on a Rendezvous With Simi Garewal episode. Unfortunately, their love story was cut short by divorce, and neither of them seem to have found another partner.
John Abraham-Bipasha Basu
The Jism jodi sizzled up the screen big-time, and their real life love seemed to be amazing too. Apparently, Bipasha broke up with John because he cheated on her. But, John has denied that allegation. We don’t know the truth, but we have to say that we were heartbroken when we heard the news.
