Post the conservatorship annulment, Britney Spears has been making the most of her newfound freedom. Whether it’s her Instagram posts or her calling out her family, the singer is making sure she speaks her truth. While she may be disappointed with the many documentaries made on her life, Spears has given the green signal to a tell-all memoir. According to reports in Deadline, the superstar has signed a $15 million deal with publisher Simon & Schuster for a tell-all memoir, a history-making sum for a celebrity biography.
The tell-memoir deal comes shortly after the release of her sister, Jamie Lynn’s memoir, which Spears criticised quite heavily. After Lynn’s appearance on Good Morning America, the 40-year-old had tweeted, “The two things that did bother me that my sister said was how my behaviour was out of control. She was never around me much 15 years ago… So why are they even talking about that unless she wants to sell a book at my expense?” It’s pretty sure the pop superstar won’t leave any details of the gruesome conservatorship and fans are excited to know about it all.
Here Are 3 Things We Hope Britney Spears Talk About In Her Memoir:
Things She Was Forced To Do
Spears has spoken in abundance about how she was ill-treated by her family during the conservatorship. While she has given many shocking details about her life in these past years, we are sure fans want to know what she felt like while going through this tough time. From not being allowed to take a break from hectic tours to not having any control over her finances, it sure would have been pretty hard for her. She was also forced to have an IUD, despite the fact that she wanted to have more children, so we hope she talks about the whole tiring journey too.
Her Relationship With Justin Timberlake
One of the key highlights during the whole conservatorship battle was her relationship with Justin Timberlake. Fans lashed out at the singer for treating Spears badly, eventually leading on to her breakdown. She was demonized in the press for claims made by Timberlake. The singer has accused Spears of infidelity. Nearly 20 years after their relationship ended, Timberlake apologised to Speras. We wonder how she took the apology.
Her Getting Back To Music
Spears was and still remains an icon. Her music is still evergreen. Now with the control to work on her own terms, we want to see her talk about her plans to get back to creating music. We hope she talks about how she sees her career and how the past will affect the coming future.
With this, we also hope that no matter what the content of the finished memoir looks like, the #FreeBritney movement gets a shout out by the singer for being extremely critical in helping the singer get back her rights.
