We dared some of the best mixologists to craft cocktails with Jäger. Enough said.


 

 “So what cocktail can you make with Jäger other than that wretched ‘bomb’ that kids drink all the time?”

 

“I have no idea. Should we find out?”

 

“I have a feeling we are going to be very drunk by the end of this one…”

 


 

 

 

GAME KEEPER BY HAKKASAN

 

 

Ingredients:

 

45 ml Jägermeister

 

2 stems rosemary

 

3 lime wedges

 

12.5 ml sugar syrup

 

30 ml sake

 

Green apple juice to top up

 

Dried rosemary for garnish

 

Method:

 

Put a little crushed ice into a pilsner glass. Pour the Jägermeister into a shaker, add rosemary and lime and muddle. Then add sake and sugar syrup and churn the cocktail with crushed ice. Pour into the glass, add some more crushed ice and top up with green apple juice. Garnish with dried rosemary.

HUNTER HONOUR BY HAKKASAN

 

 

Ingredients:

 

30 ml Jägermeister

 

20 ml Johnnie Walker Black Label

 

10 ml pear liqueur

 

10 ml lemon juice

 

12.5 ml golden syrup

 

Cocoa powder, to smoke

 

Method:

 

Pour all the ingredients into the shaker, shake well and double strain into a decanter. Smoke the cocoa powder into a jar and pour the cocktail into it. Roll the cocktail and let it blend with the smoke. Pour into an Old Fashioned glass and serve on a plate with sundried orange, cinnamon and star anise.

JÄGGERITA BY ONE STREET OVER

 

 

Ingredients:

 

45 ml Jägermeister

 

15 ml triple sec

 

10 ml ginger syrup

 

5 ml lime juice

 

Method:

 

Shake well and serve over crushed ice, garnished with mint, a candied lime wheel, candied ginger and a lime wedge.

JÄGER LONG ISLAND ICE TEA BY MIGHTY SMALL

 

 

Ingredients:

 

15 ml vodka

 

15 ml Bacardi

 

15 ml Jägermeister

 

15 ml gin

 

15 ml triple sec

 

10 ml lime juice

 

60 ml Coke

 

4 ice cubes

 

Method:

 

Build up all the ingredients, add ice cubes and shake until mixed well. pour the mixture in a jar and garnish with a slice of lime.

JÄGERMATE BY BONOBO

 

 

Ingredients:

 

30 ml Jägermeister

 

30 ml peach schnapps

 

45 ml cranberry juice

 

4 ice cubes

 

Fresh peach slice to garnish

 

Method:

 

Pour all the ingredients into the shaker, shake well and double strain into a decanter. Smoke the cocoa powder into a jar and pour the cocktail into it. Roll the cocktail and let it blend with the smoke. Pour into an Old Fashioned glass and serve on a plate with sundried orange, cinnamon and star anise.

HERBED SANGRIA BY LIGHT HOUSE CAFE

 

 

Ingredients:

 

15 ml Jägermeister

 

30 ml red wine

 

60 ml organic lemon tea

 

30 ml orange juice

 

Seasonal fruits to garnish

 

Method:

 

Add Jägermeister, red wine and orange juice into a shaker and shake well. Add the mixture to a wine glass. Take 60 ml of hot water and make some organic lemon tea using a tea bag. Garnish the drink with an orange wedge and diced apples. Serve hot.
