Whether you’re planning a virtual get-together or whether you’re taking it easy on the couch watching holiday classics, these cocktails made with the finest scotches, whiskies, gins and vodkas with seemingly simple ingredients from your kitchen, can turn New Year’s Eve into something special.

CRANBERRY & CITRUS BLUSH
Ingredients:
- 60ml Black & White Scotch Whisky
- 60ml Fresh Orange Juice
- A Few Mint Leaves
- 30ml Cranberry Juice
- Soda Water for Top Up
- 15ml Lime Juice
Glassware: Highball
Garnish: Orange Slice and Mint Sprig
Method: In a tall glass, build up all the ingredients over a few ice cubes. Garnish and serve.
COPPER DOG AND COLA
Ingredients:
- 50ml Copper Dog
- Cola to top
Glassware: Rocks/Whisky Glass
Garnish: Orange Slice
Method: In a glass, build up all the ingredients over a few ice cubes. Garnish and serve.
JOHNNIE NYE HIGHBALL
Ingredients:
- 45ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
- 30ml Ginger Juice
- 20ml Honey
- 15ml Lime Juice
- Soda Water
Glassware: Highball
Garnish: Ginger slice/ Ginger Candy
Method: In a tall glass, build up all the ingredients over lots of ice cubes. Garnish and serve.
NO ‘SINGLE’ WAY
Ingredients:
- 60ml The Singleton Of Glendullan 12YO
- 15ml Lime Juice
- 1 Bar Spoon of Orange Or Apricot Jam
Glassware: Martini/ Coupe
Garnish: Orange Peel
Method: Add 4 cubes of ice along with all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Double strain the liquid into the glass. Garnish and serve.
THE GORDONS G&T
Ingredients:
- 50ml Gordon’s London Dry Gin
- Fresh Bottled Tonic to top
Glass: Copa Glass
Garnish: Lime Wedge
Method: Fill a chilled glass with fresh ice cubes. Pour in the gin and top up with chilled tonic. Gently squeeze a wedge of lime into the glass before dropping it in, then give it all a final stir. The definitive G&T, and a great way to begin any occasion.
TANQUERAY BASIL BAE
Ingredients:
- 45ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
- 5 to 6 Basil Leaves
- 1 TSP Honey
- 10ml Lime Juice
Glassware: Old Fashioned Glass
Garnish: Lime Wheel or Basil Sprig
Method: Add 4 cubes of ice along with all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Double strain the liquid into the glass.
Garnish and serve.
MIRCHAPOUR
Ingredients:
- 60ml Smirnoff Vodka
- 8 to 10 Cucumber Chunks
- Few Coriander Leaves
- 20ml Lime Juice
- 10ml Sprite
- ½ Slit Green Chilly
Glassware: Wine Glass
Garnish: Coriander Sprig/Cucumber Slice
Method: Add 4 cubes of ice along with all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Double strain the liquid into the glass. Garnish and serve.
RING A BELL
Ingredients:
- 60ml Ketel One Vodka
- 60ml Fresh Carrot Juice
- 10ml Honey
- Pinch of Turmeric
- 10ml Ginger Juice
Glassware: Highball
Garnish: Lime Wedge
Method: In a tall glass, build up all the ingredients over lots of ice cubes. Garnish and serve.
