Squid Game became a phenomenon within just a few weeks of its release on Netflix. The show chronicles the story of hundreds of cash-strapped players who accept a strange invitation to compete in children’s games. The only twist to win the tempting prize money is to avoid death. Post the release of the series, people went crazy over how gripping the show was. The fandom went to an extent where we saw Tik Toks, restaurant offers, theme parties, and even Halloween costumes inspired by the show. Now, Youtuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) is all set to release the video that features his ambitious project of recreating Squid Game with random people as participants.

Known for his bizarre ventures online, the YouTuber announced the games in November. He started working on the project in October and managed to get 456 random people to participate in his real-life Squid Game. Taking to his Instagram story on November 24, MrBeast shared pictures of the sets replicating every game on the popular South Korean drama. The 456 participants will be seen in the popular green tracksuit that we saw the characters don in the series.

The setup has a huge playground where the players played the iconic ‘Red Light, Green Light’ game with the doll placed in the middle, looking exactly like the series’ first game. The tug-of-war podium has also been recreated. The Youtuber shared the sneak peeks with a note that read, ”I can’t wait to see how you guys react.”
