Yuvraj Singh is the latest Indian celebrity to enter the liquor business, making a bold move into the premium spirits market with the launch of FINO Tequila. The former cricketer joins an elite league of stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt, who have ventured into whisky, rum, gin, and tequila—each brand reflecting a commitment to craftsmanship and quality. With Indian celebrity-owned liquor brands gaining international recognition and accolades here are other celebrity-backed spirits that are making waves across the globe! 

D'Yavol - Shah Rukh Khan 

Shah Rukh Khan, along with his son Aryan, launched a luxury brand namely D'Yavol, whose flagship product is whiskey and vodka. Last year, their whisky bagged the 'Best Overall Scotch' award at the 2024 New York World Spirits Competition (NYWSC). Eight rare single malts from the Highland, Lowland, Speyside, and Island regions are used to make this whisky. 

The Glenwalk - Sanjay Dutt 

Launched by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt in June 2023, The Glenwalk, a scotch whisky brand, has become a massive hit in the alcohol market. After they introduced a convenient 200 ml nip bottle in December 2024, The Glenwalk reported sales of over 3 lakh nip bottles within just 45 days. The brand is currently available in states like Maharashtra, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Goa, but they are slowly expanding their presence to other regions. 

Yuksom Breweries - Danny Denzongpa 

You might know Danny Denzongpa from the iconic villain roles he played in the 80s and 90s, but he is also an astute entrepreneur, who forayed into the business of spirits long before it became too cool. In 1987, Denzongpa started Yuksom Breweries in Sikkim, named after his hometown, which now sells over three million beer cases annually. In 2009, he bought Assam's Rhino Agencies to solidify their dominance in the North Eastern market. 

Loca Loka - Rana Daggubati and Anirudh Ravichander 

Loca Loka is a premium tequila brand co-founded by Indian actor Rana Daggubati and music composer Anirudh Ravichander, presently catering to the US market. The brand produces high-quality agave-based tequila, utilizing traditional Mexican techniques while integrating modern influences. 

Yuvraj Singh - FINO Tequila 

Yuvraj Singh, a former Indian cricketer, has ventured into the spirits industry with the launch of his luxury tequila brand, "Fino". The brand was launched in Chicago recently. Crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, FINO features a range of high-end tequilas.
