Whether it's billionaire weddings, festivals, or soul-searching trips, international artists have been steadily flocking to Indian shores lately. Just last year, reportedly 23 big names performed here, including Sting, Halsey, the Jonas Brothers, and more. This year has been no different, with 50 Cent, Ed Sheeran, and now Dua Lipa performing in front of the desi crowd. That being said, here are six international artists who are either confirmed or likely to perform in India this year and at the beginning of next.
Dua Lipa (November 30)
After her soul-searching trip to Rajasthan, the British pop star is confirmed to perform at the second edition of the Zomato Feeding India Concert, to be held on November 30 at BKC in Mumbai. This will be the singer’s second performance here after 2019.
Bryan Adams (Starting December 8)

We’re getting "Summer of '69" in December this year, with Bryan Adams confirming multiple shows across the country. The iconic singer will kick off his tour on December 8 in Kolkata and will continue across cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Shillong, and Hyderabad. Tough luck getting your hands on tickets, though, with the Mumbai tickets selling out in less than 24 hours.
Cigarettes After Sex (January 2025)
Hold on to your loved ones (in a good way), as Cigarettes After Sex is coming back to India next year. The American band is set to tour the country, starting with a performance in Delhi-NCR on January 24, followed by Mumbai on January 25 and Bengaluru on January 28. The setlist will include tracks from their latest album, X’s, such as "Tejano Blue," "Hideaway," and "Hot," along with favourites from previous albums.
Ed Sheeran (2025)

Ed Sheeran, who previously performed in Mumbai as part of his ‘+ – = ÷ x’ (Mathematics) Asia tour, is set to return to India in 2025. Sheeran hinted at his return on Instagram, after having a great time in Mumbai this year. Fans are excited to see if Kolkata will be included in the tour, as hinted by Rajya Sabha member (no really) Derek O'Brien on Instagram.
Coldplay (2025)

In a rather upsetting turn of events, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin confirmed that the band will stop recording music in 2025, stating, "Our last proper record will come out in 2025, and after that, I think we will only tour." Perhaps as a part of this tour plan, the British band is rumoured to come back to India early next year. More details are expected to be revealed soon.
