Grooming Trends That Are Expected To Takeover 2025

The year-end and new year looks of celebrities are in and so, it’s safe to say that grooming trend forecast of 2025 seems bold, interesting, fresh

Men’s grooming has come a long way. What was once limited to basic shaving kits and cologne has now evolved into a multi-billion-dollar industry. Today, men aren’t just grooming to look good—they’re doing it to feel good, to express themselves, and to keep up with a world that’s moving faster than ever. And the numbers back it up. The global men’s grooming market is projected to hit $33.14 billion in 2025, growing steadily as more men embrace a well-rounded grooming routine.

Whether you’re a 20-year-old Gen Z trendsetter or a 50-year-old professional looking to stay sharp, 2025 has something exciting in store for you. Here’s a sneak peek at the biggest grooming trends set to dominate the year ahead.

Products on Focus

The men’s grooming aisle is getting a major makeover, and it’s not just about looking good—it’s about smarter, sustainable, and more effective products.

Skincare Takes Center Stage

Gone are the days of soap and water being enough. Men are diving headfirst into skincare, with hydrating moisturizers and anti-aging serums becoming everyday essentials. Dark circle creams and facial cleansers are also making their way into bathroom cabinets, reflecting a growing awareness of self-care.

Multi-Tasking Products

Why buy three products when one can do the job? Multi-functional grooming solutions, like 2-in-1 shampoo-conditioners and all-in-one face and body creams, are becoming the go-to for busy men who want efficiency without compromising on quality.

Natural Ingredients and Sustainability

Men today care about what goes into their products—and what happens to the planet. Think natural, eco-friendly formulations that are as kind to your skin as they are to the environment.

Fragrances Go Personal

This year, it’s all about finding your signature scent. Men are experimenting with fragrance layering to create unique blends, leaning toward earthy and unisex notes like sandalwood, neroli, and cardamom while also making sure to stick to the ones they usually enjoy wearing. Therefore, while intense woody, leathery fragrances will reign, the influx of gender-fluid, unisex fragrances will shift perspective, seeing more men experimenting with softer, sweeter notes.

Hair Products Will Get a Lift

These days men want to sport a different hair look for different events and occasions. However, they want to create multiple looks with the same cut therefore, the number of hair styling products on the grooming shelf is going to increase. “The preference is to have 2-3 products that help you change your look as per the occasion or vibe you want to go for. Though people mostly stick to classics like hair gels and waxes, we are seeing boys now get into texture sprays and dusts. Sea Salt sprays are also becoming popular for textured looks,” adds Aalim Hakim, Celebrity Hairstylist and Chief Styling Officer at Set Wet.

Hair Styling, Beard & More!

Hair isn’t just hair anymore—it’s an expression of personality and mood. And 2025 is set to be all about bold choices and natural vibes.

Natural Textures Are In

It’s time to ditch the heavily gelled, perfectly sculpted looks. Men are embracing their natural textures—be it wavy, curly, or somewhere in between. It’s all about celebrating what makes you unique. For instance, if you have curls, just flaunt them without tirelessly trying to straighten them out. Have you all seen Siddhant Chaturvedi having fun with his curls? “The new trend is to create some shock value and be able to stand out a little but at the same time it needs to be a look that is personalised for you, to make your features stand out and suit your personality,” says Hakim.

Geometric Designs and Vibrant Colors

If you’re feeling adventurous, 2025 is your year. Haircuts with sharp geometric patterns and bold colors like platinum blond or fiery red are taking over. These styles scream confidence and individuality. “Any hair style you pick should have the right balance of height and sharp edges on the side, so it gives you a little bit of the angular look towards the bottom for you to look more chiseled,” adds Hakim

Low-Maintenance Styles

For those who like to keep it simple, classic low-maintenance cuts are making a comeback. They’re polished, timeless, and perfect for those who want to look great without spending hours in front of the mirror. We are talking about classic quiffs and pompadours that have been a classic choice for men who do not want to experiment and find their usual style quick and effortless.

Beard and Moustache Go Retro

The new year celebrity looks are in and it’s safe to say that we are heading the retro way! We are talking about Vicky Kaushal and Veer Pahariya’s pornstache look which has also made its way to Hollywood with Timotheé Chalamet being the recent addition to the list. “This year we are seeing sharper cleaner facial looks like pencil moustaches from the 60s or drop fade beards without side locks to give a cleaner look,” says Hakim. With beard, we are not getting over the full-face of beard like Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal look or Kaushal’s caveman look. However, the beard will get structured. “With beards the trend now is to go conical towards the chin to create that diamond shaped effect for a more chiseled look,” he adds.

Innovation and Technology in Grooming

The grooming industry isn’t just getting smarter—it’s getting futuristic. Here’s how technology is shaping the future of looking sharp.

High-Tech Grooming Gadgets

Electric razors are leveling up with features like nano-sharpened blades and hyper-precise motors. Think of it as grooming at the speed of light—clean, efficient, and incredibly smooth.

Personalised Skincare Tools

Imagine a tool that analyses your skin and gives you a tailor-made skincare routine. That’s not sci-fi anymore. Gadgets like L’Oréal’s skin age calculator are bringing personalization to skincare like never before.

Non-Invasive Cosmetic Procedures

More men are opting for non-surgical treatments like wrinkle-smoothing injectables and skin-tightening procedures. These “tweakments” are discreet, quick, and designed to enhance natural features with minimal downtime.

Eco-Friendly Packaging and Products

Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword. From biodegradable packaging to waterless grooming products, brands are stepping up to meet the growing demand for planet-friendly solutions.

The Takeaway

As we step into 2025, the men’s grooming landscape is all about individuality, sustainability, and innovation. Whether you’re experimenting with bold hairstyles, investing in high-tech gadgets, or embracing natural ingredients, one thing is clear: men’s grooming is going to get its due with a facelift that’s been long due. After all, looking good is just the beginning. Feeling good? That’s where the magic happens.
