Ten times Grammy-winning artist, Pharrell Williams is all set to collaborate with the luxury brand Chanel to design his own collection for the fashion house. Williams’ ties with Chanel dates back to 2014 when the Happy singer made an appearance alongside Cara Delevingne in a Pre-Fall ad campaign for the brand. Williams has actively starred in a number of the house’s campaigns. Last year, this American rapper and songwriter collaborated with Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld and Adidas Originals to design trainers worth almost £30k.
The news was disclosed by the artist while attending Chanel’s fashion show in Bangkok. However, most of the details about this collaboration still remain under wraps. The rapper donned a yellow hoodie with the iconic Chanel insignia, which was revealed to be designed by him in the luxury brand’s first fashion show in the Thai metropolis.
