On the morning after Lakers were announced as the new NBA champions, Louis Vuitton revealed a new LV x NBA menswear capsule collection designed by its artistic director, Virgil Abloh.

The new collection is a part of a three-year partnership between Vuitton and the National Basketball Association (NBA). This capsule collection explores the world of basketball and luxury vision of Abloh. It features three main wardrobes: travels and transits are embodied in a grey cashmere tracksuit adorned with graphics informed by the lines of a basketball. Game Arrivals come in a blue hooded leather jacket, Monogram jeans and t-shirts and lastly, the press conference dress code is all about suits and a dress shirt.

“Fashion muses aren’t predictable. Ideas of luxury can be found in the sports world and its champions as much as in traditional forms of artistry. This collection celebrates the cultural contribution of basketball and its diverse characters, and the idea of relatability as a force of unity today,” explains Abloh.

The collection will be available in stores from November 20. Take a first look at the collection below.
