Louis Vuitton is bottling up the goodness of summer with the launch of three new fragrances under the line, Les Colognes. This is the first unisex fragrance line from the brand and comes just in time for the holiday season. The three fragrances under the collection, Sun Song, Cactus Garden and Afternoon Swim are here to be your travel accompaniments for the next weekend getaway. Even if it’s to the nearby beach. 

Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud was inspired by Californian summer for this line. “I dreamed of creating a perfume with airiness. Locating the sensitive frontier between a pleasant but fleeting summer eau and the permanence of a perfume that expresses itself on the skin over time. Sun Song, Cactus Garden and Afternoon Swim are the colours of summer and of endless summer nights which they extend because I created them with the same respect as great perfumes, with rare and natural raw materials whose qualities are exceptional. These are perfumes of light, with notes that burst to reveal all their inherent naturalness.”

Everything that reminds one of the summers can we found in these brightly coloured bottles. The Sun Song is packed with the essence of a flower while Cactus Garden and Afternoon Swin contain the essence of a plant and a fruit. Picture, the very charming orange blossom scent that feels like a ray of light or the scent of an exotic tea as you lounge on an exotic deck. 

To capture the essence of these fragrances, Louis Vuitton has collaborated with artist and filmmaker, Alex Israel on the packaging of the line. Israel draws inspiration from Los Angles, the city that happens to be his hometown.
