Lakme Fashion Week kicked off with some of the most talented designers showcasing their art on the runways. The phygital fashion extravaganza saw multiple designers taking turns to show off their designer collections with colourful sets with technological advancements. From Kartik Aaryan turning up as a showstopper for Manish Malhotra to Khanijo’s play with print, take a look at some of the best of menswear from this season.

MANISH MALHOTRA

 

 

Kartik Aaryan closed Manish Malhotra’s show with an all-black bandhgala jacket with three silver reindeers embroidered, which was perfectly teamed with an asymmetric ink kurta and slim pants.

 

PAYAL SINGHAL

 

 

Payal Singhal’s athleisure collection was a fresh take on something that can be worn literally everywhere. The designer collaborated with R-Elan for this collection, which has been entirely crafted using

 

their high-performance, eco-friendly fabrics created using sustainable techniques.

 

PAWAN SACHDEVA

 

 

Pawan Sachdeva’s versatile collection consisted of long jackets made using PU fabric, leather and suede uppers that perfectly co-ordinated with the bottoms. The colour palette included greys, powder blues, reds, wine, orange, fawn and teal.

 

PEARL ACADEMY STUDENTS 

 

 

The students of Pearl Academy hosted a gender-fluid collection on the runway of Lakme Fashion Week. The showcase included pieces of both menswear and womenswear. Printed silk shirts, colourful co-ord sets and metallic fabrics were the highlight of the show.

 

KHANIJO

 

 

Khanijo’s menswear collection included knee-length coat with frayed shoulder detailing, a casual brown

 

jacket, mandarin collar kurta and a button less embroidered denim jacket, which was the highlight of the collection.

 

HEUMN

 

 

Huemn’s gender-neutral collection saw an array of clothing that boasted of comfort. Anti fit and baggy silhouettes were the theme of the line, where shirts came in with giant printed patch pockets, while denim biker’s jackets had a touch of statement to it.
